Telusur.app is a curated experience platform that connects users (consumers), hosts (providers of experiences), authors (content creators). Through the platform, users can book local experiences, read content created by authors, and purchase merchandise related to the experiences.
3. User Responsibilities
3.1 Eligibility
To use the platform, you must:
  • Be at least 17 years old or, if applicable, have the consent of a legal guardian.
  • Ensure that any information you provide during registration or booking is accurate and up-to-date.
3.2 Booking Experiences
  • Users can book experiences provided by hosts via the platform. It is the responsibility of the user to review all details of the experience, including pricing, availability, and terms, before booking.
  • Cancellation policies will vary based on the individual host’s terms and will be presented during the booking process. Users are responsible for adhering to these policies.
3.3 Merchandise Purchase
  • Users may purchase merchandise through the platform, either as a standalone purchase or as part of an experience package. All sales are final unless otherwise specified in the return or refund policy.
  • Merchandise may be created by local artisans, tied to specific experiences, or part of Telusur.app’s exclusive offerings.
4. Hosts Responsibilities
4.1 Offering Experiences
  • Hosts must provide detailed, accurate information about the experiences they offer, including pricing, availability, and any requirements or conditions.
  • Hosts are responsible for delivering the services as described in the listing and maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Telusur.app may assist hosts in marketing their experiences but is not liable for any disputes between hosts and users arising from the experience itself.
4.2 Cancellations
  • Hosts must set their own cancellation policies, which must be clearly displayed on the experience page. Hosts agree to honor all confirmed bookings unless a legitimate reason for cancellation arises (e.g., emergency or unavoidable circumstance).
4.3 Payment Terms
  • Hosts will receive payment for experiences booked through the platform, minus a commission fee charged by Telusur.app. Payment terms will be specified in the host agreement upon signing up.
  • Hosts are responsible for paying any applicable taxes related to the income earned from experiences provided through the platform.
5. Author Responsibilities
5.1 Content Creation
  • Authors may contribute content in the form of blogs, guides, and reviews to enhance the user experience. All content must be original, accurate, and relevant to the platform’s goals.
  • Content should not violate the intellectual property rights of any third party.
5.2 Sponsored Content
  • Authors may create sponsored content in collaboration with hosts, local businesses, or merchandise providers. Any sponsored content must be disclosed as such to maintain transparency.
6. Merchandise Providers
6.1 Product Listings
  • Merchandise providers must provide accurate descriptions and images of the products sold through the platform. Telusur.app reserves the right to review all product listings to ensure they meet platform standards.
6.2 Sales and Shipping
  • The terms of sale, including pricing, shipping, and return policies, must be clearly displayed for all products. Telusur.app is not responsible for shipping or handling merchandise and will not be held liable for any issues related to product quality or delivery.
7. Payments and Fees
7.1 Commission Fees
  • Telusur.app charges commission fees for each transaction made through the platform. The applicable fee structure will be displayed to hosts, merchandise providers, and other service providers upon sign-up.
7.2 Payment Methods
  • Payments for experiences and merchandise must be processed through Telusur.app’s secure payment system. The platform supports various payment methods, including credit card, e-wallets, and bank transfers.
7.3 Refunds
  • Refunds for experiences and merchandise are subject to the specific refund policies of the host or merchandise provider. Telusur.app is not responsible for processing refunds unless specifically stated.
8. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute between a user, host, author, or merchandise provider, Telusur.app will offer mediation but will not be held liable for resolving the issue. Any disputes that cannot be resolved through mediation will be subject to the laws of the jurisdiction specified in this agreement.
9. Intellectual Property
9.1 Platform Content
  • All content provided on the platform, including text, images, and videos created by Telusur.app, is the intellectual property of Telusur.app. Users and hosts may not copy, reproduce, or distribute platform content without permission.
9.2 User-Generated Content
  • By submitting content (e.g., reviews, photos), users and hosts grant Telusur.app a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, modify, and distribute such content for marketing and promotional purpose
10. Termination
Telusur.app reserves the right to terminate or suspend any account, user, host, author, or merchandise provider that violates these terms or engages in activities harmful to the platform or its participants.
11. Modifications to Terms
Telusur.app may update or modify these Terms at any time, with notice provided through the platform. Continued use of the platform after changes to the Terms constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
12. Limitation of Liability
Telusur.app is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of the platform, including, but not limited to, loss of profits, data, or user satisfaction.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Telusur.app operates. Any legal action must be filed in the courts of this jurisdiction.
